How Frostify handles orders and reminders

These platform rules explain how Frostify expects bakeries and customers to use the order system. Frostify remains an intermediary platform only.

Last updated: April 9, 2026Back to Frostify

Bakery order actions

  • Bakeries can accept orders
  • Bakeries can reject orders
  • Bakeries can cancel orders when needed
  • Bakeries can update order status throughout fulfilment

Standard order flow

Frostify uses a simple order status path so customers understand what is happening.

  • Placed
  • Accepted
  • Preparing
  • Ready
  • Delivered
  • Cancelled

Bakery status updates

Bakeries are expected to keep order status updated regularly. This helps customers plan pickup or delivery and reduces confusion.

  • Placed orders should be accepted or rejected promptly
  • Accepted orders should move to preparing when work begins
  • Preparing orders should move to ready when fulfilment is complete
  • Ready orders should be closed after delivery or pickup completion

Customer actions

  • Customers can view order status in Frostify
  • Customers can contact the bakery for order changes or cancellation requests
  • Customers cannot directly cancel an accepted order inside Frostify without bakery approval

Reminder system

Frostify sends simple in-app reminders to bakeries when an order needs attention.

  • New order alerts when a customer places an order
  • Reminder if an order is not accepted in time
  • Reminder if an accepted order is not moved forward
  • Reminder if an order stays in preparing or ready for too long

Important role boundary

Frostify does not prepare food.

Frostify is not a delivery partner.

Each bakery remains fully responsible for order fulfilment, quality, timing, cancellation handling, and customer communication.

FROSTIFY

Frostify is a bakery marketplace platform. Independent bakeries handle preparation, fulfilment, delivery, pickup, cancellations, and customer complaints.
